Jill Lee

Healthcare Assistant

Jill joined the Army in 1985 and qualified as a nurse, she had postings at various military hospitals. After four years military service, Jill got a nursing position on the Renal Unit at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle.

In 1991 Jill felt the desire for a career change and become a Police Officer in Durham Constabulary. She worked within the Traffic Unit, Firearms team, CID and Safeguarding. During this time Jill also had a 12-month secondment working as part of the International Police Task Force for the UN in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After Jill retired from the police she returned to nursing as a Healthcare Assistant at a local GP surgery where she worked alongside Mike and Julie assisting them with the minor surgery and vasectomy clinics.

At Northern Medical Practitioners Jill is delighted to be part of the team and is responsible for patient wellbeing, assisting the team during medical procedures and administrative work.

Outside of work Jill is a keen runner, enjoys walking her labrador and loves meeting her friends.
