About These Terms

These Terms of Use set out the conditions on which you may use the Northern Medical Practitioners Ltd website at www.northern-medical.co.uk (the "website"). By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. Your continued use of the website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms of Use govern the use of the website itself. They are distinct from our Patient Terms and Conditions, which govern the clinical services we provide once you make a booking.

  • (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, our servers, or any connected systems;
  • (c) introduce viruses, malware, or any other harmful code;

2.3 We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website, in whole or in part, at any time, without notice, where we consider it necessary.

03

Information on the Website is Not Medical Advice

3.1 The content of the website is provided for general information about our services. It does not constitute medical advice. Nothing on the website is intended to be relied on as a substitute for a consultation with a qualified clinician who has assessed you personally.

3.2 If you have a medical concern, please consult your NHS GP or another appropriate clinician, or call NHS 111 for urgent advice. In an emergency, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E.

3.3 We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on the website is accurate at the time of publication. We do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error-free. Information, prices, and service availability may change without notice.

04

Intellectual Property

4.1 All content on the website — including text, images, the "NM" monogram and the Northern Medical wordmark, photographs, illustrations, and the overall look and feel — is owned by Northern Medical Practitioners Ltd or used with permission. All rights are reserved.

4.2 You may view, print, or download extracts of the website for your own personal non-commercial use. You may not otherwise reproduce, republish, adapt, or commercially exploit any content from the website without our prior written permission.

06

Online Booking and Enquiries

6.1 The website allows you to submit enquiries and, in due course, to book appointments online. Submitting an enquiry or booking does not create a contract for the provision of clinical services until we confirm your booking in writing.

6.2 The terms on which we provide clinical services are set out in our Patient Terms and Conditions, which apply once your booking is confirmed. By making a booking you are agreeing to the Patient Terms and Conditions in force at that time.

6.3 Please provide accurate and complete information when making an enquiry or booking. Inaccurate information may delay your care or result in the booking being declined.

07

Your Privacy and Cookies

7.1 Our handling of personal information submitted through or collected by the website is set out in our Privacy Notice.

7.2 Our use of cookies is set out in our Cookie Policy. When you first visit, you are asked to choose your cookie preferences; you can change these at any time.

08

Availability and Technical Matters

8.1 We make reasonable efforts to keep the website available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The website may be unavailable during planned maintenance or as a result of events outside our control.

8.2 You are responsible for the equipment, software, and internet connection you use to access the website, and for any telecommunications costs you incur.

09

Limitation of Liability

9.1 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, we are not liable to you for:

  • (a) any indirect, consequential, or special loss;
  • (b) loss of business, profits, anticipated savings, data, or goodwill; or
  • (c) losses arising from your reliance on information on the website where that reliance was unreasonable having regard to section 3.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law.

10

Suspension and Termination

Where you breach these Terms, we may, at our discretion and without prejudice to any other rights: send you a warning; restrict or suspend your access to the website; refuse to provide services to you; or, in cases of serious misuse, take legal action and report the matter to law enforcement.

12

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any dispute arising under these Terms, except that nothing in this clause prevents us from seeking injunctive or equivalent relief in any jurisdiction to protect our rights.

13

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our services, the website, or applicable law. The current version is always available on the website, and the version number and date at the top of this page show when it was last updated.
