Kim is an independent nurse prescriber with advanced clinical skills training and extensive experience in both hospital and community settings.
She began her clinical career as a healthcare assistant at the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI). Recognised early for her clinical ability and potential, she was sponsored by the Trust to complete her nurse training. After qualifying, Kim worked in the RVI operating theatres before moving into community nursing and then general practice. While in general practice she gained her independent prescribing qualification alongside advanced clinical skills training.
At Northern Medical, Kim supports the clinical team with procedures and patient care and leads our infection prevention and control programme. She also continues clinical practice in an NHS GP setting, and in operating theatres at a major private hospital, ensuring her skills remain current and robust.
Kim’s role enhances the patient experience by helping to ensure care is delivered smoothly, safely and to the highest professional standards throughout their visit.
